SUREPME COURT PICKLEBALL IS AN OFFICIAL PARTNER OF DUPR

Supreme Court Pickleball has an official partnership with DUPR Pickleball Rating, the most accurate global rating system in the sport. DUPR is trusted by the world’s premier Pickleball clubs, professional tours, and recreational players alike.

DUPR will be used exclusively for participation in all club programming.

Supreme Court Pickleball offers Five (5) DUPR divisions. Caps signify the highest rating a player may have to participate on the team.

1. Premier Open Division 1: DUPR has no cap.

2. Club Division 2:  4.5 DUPR is the cap.

3. Select Division 3: 4.0 DUPR is the cap.

4. League Division 4: 3.5 DUPR is the cap.

5. Rec Division 5: 3.0 DUPR is the cap.

Five team minimum to field division or divisions can be combined. (teams could be moved up)

•Player may play up at their division level or at a higher skill level or DUPR rating, meaning DUPR is lower than the cap

•Player many not play below their skill level or lower DUPR rating, meaning DUPR is higher than the cap.

•If an athlete’s rating is above the division cap contact the league. 

DUPR is locked in at time of registration for league play and for *nationals, as the rating is dynamic and will change during the season. 

DUPR ID Requirement

Rating Process:

• New players receive an initial "NR" (Not Rated) status
• Self-rating is used for league registration (honor system)
• DUPR dynamically adjusts with each match played
• A preliminary rating typically appears after 5 games (2 league matches)
• DUPR considers the rating accurate after 10 games

For New Players:

• First match rating is based on performance against rated players
• Expect rating fluctuations in early matches before stabilization
• Rated players' scores are minimally impacted when playing against NR players
• In all-NR matches, a baseline 3.5 level is assumed and adjusted based on outcomes

DUPR has a process to address significant discrepancies between self-rating and actual performance and will be in touch with the player directly.

Do points scored in a match affect ratings?

Yes! Fight for every point and every game because they all count--along with wins or loses like traditional ranking systems.
